Beaucraft, Inc., known to many as "Fair", made of sterling silver jewelry from 1947 to 2004 of his Providence, Rhode Island factory. The company was one of the leading producers of pounds of fine jewelry for 57 years. They were popular songs to mid price, including charms, rings, necklaces, earrings and brooches. Charms were the best in class sales and there are still thousands of examples available on the market as collectibles.
The company was founded in 1947 by Luigi Russo and Ray Sacciccio, and the company has grown rapidly as they have developed a reputation for originality of design and craftsmanship. Beaucraft supplied jewelry to department stores and independent jewelers similar and had employed over 125 people and 35 sales representatives outside. Some of their designs the most popular charms include mustard seeds, gumball machines, carousel, and marine themes. Their figurative pieces are a main line Beaucraft jewelry.
Although Beaucraft cultivated a reputation for high quality sterling silver jewelry, the company also produces sterling souvenir spoons and new, and jewelry made from gold plated, gold silver and 14K gold. During the 1960s designers began their contrasting brushed and polished silver to create a new look for the original and classic fashion jewelry.
In 2004, after 57 years as head of Beaucraft, Luigi Russo decided to take retired and much of the remaining inventory was sold at auction for Amsco Ltd. for resale. The company itself has been sold Rembrandt Charms, which continues to supply independent retailers Beaucraft merchandise, including brand pads and displays.
Beautiful jewel is usually marked "Ster B", "Beau Sterling" or "Beaucraft", making it easy to identify. Most charms collection were designed in the 1950s and 1960s because of their high quality can be found in excellent condition today. Charm Collectors snapped up more and more until old Beau sterling silver charms to the whimsical and unique designs, providing brand Beaucraft will be in demand for years ahead.
